Hsin-Lun “Sandy” Li received her Master of Sciense in Oriental Medicine and acupuncture from Texas Health and Science University. She is a certified specialist in Oriental Medicine (acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine) by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a licensed practitioner in Texas and Washington.
Her background in Taiwanese occupational therapy prepared Sandy for a career in Eastern Medicine. In her previous work experience, she has observed that stroke patients recover more quickly when acupuncture is combined with the treatment. Her desire to provide better clinical outcomes for her patients led her to pursue Oriental Medicine.
She furthered her knowledge of Oriental Medicine by studying the Balance Method which is considered to produce instant results with Dr. Eileen Han and Master Tung’s points theory which provides healing power more quickly. Additionally, she enjoys reading articles that use TCM theory in our everyday lives.
Her practices of Acupuncture which includes body, auricular, and scalp, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion, Cupping, and Gua-Sha can help patients restore their health by achieving a balance between body and spirit. As a health professional, she believes that food, lifestyle, and self-care are all linked and necessary to maintaining optimal health.
